Project Manager/Program Director

For our client, we are seeking a Project Manager/Program Director to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space.

This role will guide complex, large-scale transportation engineering initiatives from planning and design through execution and client delivery. The position calls for a seasoned leader who can balance technical oversight, contract management, and cross-functional coordination while keeping scope, schedule, quality, and stakeholder expectations aligned. You will also help ensure the work meets relevant public-sector process requirements and supports successful outcomes on major infrastructure programs.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $157,500 – $283,500 annually

Responsibilities

• Manage transportation engineering projects exceeding $500 million
• Prepare project initiation, approval, and design documents
• Ensure compliance with California Department of Transportation processes
• Develop and design highway transportation projects
• Lead project planning, scope development, and scheduling
• Negotiate contract scope and fees for medium to large projects
• Coordinate quality control and client relations

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• At least 20 years of experience in large-scale transportation projects
• Documented experience as a consultant Contract Manager and Project Manager for the last 5 years
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration preferred
• Broad technical and business background
