Project Mobilizer & Skills Development Facilitator

Position Overview

• Job Title: Project Mobilizer & Skills Development Facilitator (with Admin Duties)

• Education Qualification: Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)/ BEd

Key Responsibilities

1. Community Mobilization & Outreach

• Conduct extensive field visits and door-to-door awareness campaigns to identify potential beneficiaries.
• Engage with local communities, youth groups, parents, and community leaders to promote skill development programs.
• Organize and conduct community meetings, orientations, and mobilization drives to ensure target enrollment numbers are met.

2. Training & Skills Facilitation

• Facilitate engaging, student-centric soft skills, livelihood, or life skills training sessions.
• Counsel and guide enrolled youth/candidates on career goals, training outcomes, and placement opportunities.
• Monitor student attendance and participation, providing timely counseling to prevent dropouts.

3. Project Administration & Documentation

• Handle day-to-day project data, including candidate enrollment forms, profiles, and attendance tracking.
• Maintain organized physical and digital records of project activities, expenses, and beneficiary tracking.
• Assist in preparing monthly progress reports, Case Studies, and Management Information System (MIS) data entries.

Required Qualifications & Competencies

• Education: A graduate degree in Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) is mandatory.
• Experience: 0 to 1 year of experience in the NGO sector, field marketing, or community volunteering.
• Skills:
• Strong interpersonal and community engagement skills.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email correspondence for admin tasks.
• Ability to communicate effectively in local language [Insert local language, e.g., Kannada/Hindi] and basic English.
• Other Requirements: A high level of energy for fieldwork and an intrinsic passion for social development and youth empowerment.
