Project Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist team head in planning, design & project management of capital projects including construction, addition & alteration, renovation & improvement works;
• Prepare technical feasibility studies, rough cost estimate and project programme for funding application;
• Coordinate with external consultants to ensure planning and design of capital projects comply with the operational and licensing requirement;
• Liaise with Government officials, internal departments and project stakeholders;
• Manage and supervise capital projects to ensure quality, budget and programme comply with contract provision;
• Supervise external consultants to obtain statutory approval, prepare tender documentation and to review construction submissions;
• Prepare bidding document, manage bidding procedure to ensure compliance with internal and Government requirement;
• Perform ad-hoc assignments and other duties as required.

Requirements:

• Hold a Diploma or Higher Diploma in Architectural Studies, Building Surveying or related discipline;
• Possess 1 year of relevant experience in consultancy firms; candidate with NGO background will be an advantage;
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Photoshop and Microsoft Office;
• Competent writing and communication skills in both English and Chinese
• Strong communication, teamwork, interpersonal and problem-solving skills;
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new environment;
• Well organized, detail-oriented, highly independent, proactive, able to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
