Project Officer

Architecture Commons, an award-winning design agency for urban innovation, is seeking an Architectural Designer to join our team. As a boutique architecture firm, we design architecture and processes that enhance social cohesion among citizens, businesses, institutions, and governments across projects of varying scales.

We are looking for a Project Officer to join our team on upcoming fitting-out and interior renovation projects. We welcome candidates who are detail-oriented, technically strong, and comfortable liaising with clients, contractors, and consultants. Good communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset are the qualities we value the most.

You will be doing:

• Managing fitting-out and Alteration & Addition (A&A) projects from technical planning through to site execution
• Overseeing site management, ensuring works are carried out to specification, schedule, and quality standards
• Coordinating and maintaining strong working relationships with clients, contractors, and other cooperating parties
• Handling contractual documents and ensuring compliance with project requirements
• Reviewing and managing drawing sets and technical documentation throughout project delivery

Who we are looking for:

• Diploma or above in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline
• At least 5 years of solid experience in fitting-out in architectural and interior projects
• Strong technical background with hands-on site management experience
• Well-organised, attentive to detail, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required
• Good computer literacy, including MS Word and MS Excel
• Familiarity with interior fit-out practices, A&A works, and contractual documentation
