Project Officer in the Student Development Services

Project Officer in the Student Development Services (Appointment for 18 months) [Ref. T/203/26]

Duties

1. Coordinate and implement career development initiatives that support students’ career readiness, digital competency and exploration of emerging career pathways;
2. Assist in developing learning activities (including industry sharing sessions and AI-related training programmes);
3. Source, assess and support the selection of external vendors, trainers and industry speakers and work with them to develop relevant programme content and learning experiences;
4. Liaise with internal units, industry practitioners and external partners on programme planning and implementation;
5. Coordinate promotion, participant recruitment, programme delivery, operations and quality (including scheduling, participant arrangements, logistics and on-site support);
6. Monitor programme progress, expenditure, vendor deliverables, cost-effectiveness and learning outcomes;
7. Consolidate programme data and feedback, prepare reports, and recommend improvements to enhance programme quality, effectiveness and students’ lifelong learning; and
8. Provide support to other career-related initiative (such as job platform, other employability enhancement programmes, career talks/workshops etc);
9. Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

1. A Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years' relevant working experience, preferably in training and development, student services, career services or related areas;
2. Experience in implementing training programmes, preferably in digital skills or AI-related training would be an advantage;
3. Experience in social media promotion and the design and production of promotional materials would be an advantage;
4. Experience in organising career development activities, industry engagement programmes or student development initiatives would be an advantage;
5. A team player with excellent communication, coordination and interpersonal skills, and strong stakeholder engagement ability;
6. Self-motivated with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and workstreams effectively;
7. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua); and
8. Proficiency in computer applications (such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is required.

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
