Project Performance Analyst

About the role

This role involves creating reports such as weekly forecasts, lead time analysis and other performance reports. You will collect, analyse and interpret project performance data including schedule compliance, budget utilisation, quality metrics and risk exposure. You will develop and maintain dashboards and performance reports for various stakeholders, including senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Create reports including weekly forecasts, lead time analysis and other required performance reports
• Collect, analyse and interpret project performance data (schedule compliance, budget utilisation, quality metrics, risk exposure)
• Develop and maintain dashboards and performance reports for various stakeholders, including senior management
• Identify project trends, anomalies and areas of concern, and conduct root cause analysis as required
• Evaluate project processes and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and optimisation
• Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to capture best practices and improvement areas
• Evaluate project risks and issues, and their potential impact on overall project performance
• Provide recommendations for corrective actions and risk mitigation strategies based on performance analysis
• Ensure compliance with PMO standards, methodologies and reporting requirements
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistency and accuracy of data for performance reporting

About you

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, management or statistics
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with ability to work with large datasets
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, concise and actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong understanding of project management principles, PMBOK® Guide and PMO frameworks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation ability
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel advanced level, SQL, Python, R) and visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI) is a plus
• Strong problem-solving ability and proactive approach to identifying and addressing performance issues
• Willing to undertake business travel as required
