Project Planner & Scheduler Engineer (2 year contract)

About the role

Lead the project scheduling function for a major FMCG facility expansion. You will serve as the central control point for cross-functional alignment—building, controlling, and optimizing the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) across civil construction, MEP, equipment installation, utilities, and commissioning through operational start-up.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, baseline, and manage a unified Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) encompassing civil works, mechanical/electrical/automation engineering, utility connections, equipment installation, testing, commissioning, handover, and operational start-up (OSL)
• Consolidate granular project timelines from civil, mechanical, and electrical contractors, OEMs, internal engineering teams, and factory operations into a master schedule
• Map logic-driven dependencies across site access, long-lead equipment delivery, utility energization, trial runs, and safety/quality validation to maintain critical path clarity
• Execute weekly progress updates, issue 3-week look-ahead schedules, analyze variance against baseline, and forecast revised completion timelines
• Lead weekly schedule review meetings, validate actual progress on site, proactively identify interface bottlenecks or long-lead delays, and implement actionable recovery plans
• Coordinate site access windows, shutdown periods, work permits (SHE), and operational constraints with contractors to minimize plant disruption
• Deliver concise visual schedule reports, S-curves, milestone tracking, and critical path updates for management and monthly business reviews (MOR)

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• 5+ years of specialized experience in project scheduling, planning, or project controls within industrial execution or FMCG manufacturing facilities
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Excel/Office suite
• Strong practical understanding of sequence-of-works covering civil build, MEP installation, industrial utilities, equipment commissioning, and factory OSL workflows
• Exceptional analytical thinking, stakeholder management, and proactive problem-solving under tight deadlines
• Professional fluency in both written and spoken English and Thai
