Project Planner

About the role

As a Project Planner at ANTARA KOH (M) SDN BHD, you will play a crucial role in planning and scheduling the execution of construction projects. This full-time position is based in (Pasir Gudang / Pengerang) Johor or (Port Klang) Selangor and requires strong expertise in construction planning and project management.

What you'll be doing

1. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules and timelines to ensure timely and efficient project delivery
2. Coordinate and collaborate with various stakeholders, including project managers, site supervisors and subcontractors, to align activities and optimise resource utilisation
3. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues or delays, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track
4. Prepare and present progress reports, highlighting key milestones, risks and mitigation strategies
5. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's planning and scheduling practices

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 2 years of experience in construction planning and scheduling, preferably in the planning & scheduling sub-industry
2. Strong understanding of construction processes, project management methodologies and scheduling tools
3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address project challenges
4. Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with team members and stakeholders at all levels
5. Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field
