Project Planning and Development Head

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning and Development

·       Lead the preparation of project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.

·       Conduct project feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses.

·       Develop project implementation strategies and monitor progress against established milestones.

·       Ensure that project objectives, scope, and deliverables are clearly defined and communicated.

Project Execution and Monitoring

·       Oversee the execution of projects to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.

·       Monitor project performance and recommend corrective actions when necessary.

·       Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and government regulations.

·       Track project budgets and manage resource allocation efficiently.

Team Leadership and Stakeholder Management

·       Lead and mentor project planning and development teams.

·       Collaborate with internal departments, clients, consultants, contractors, and government agencies.

·       Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management.

·       Facilitate project meetings and drive issue resolution.

Risk and Quality Management

·       Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.

·       Establish quality control measures and ensure adherence to project standards.

·       Review project documentation and ensure accuracy and completeness.

Strategic Development

·       Support business growth initiatives through project development opportunities.

·       Recommend process improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.

·       Participate in strategic planning and organizational development activities.

Qualifications

·       Graduate of a Bachelor’s/College degree in any Engineering course or equivalent

·       Preferably Licensed Engineer

·       At least 5-8 years of relevant experience in project planning, development, or project management

·       Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and planning tools.

·       Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD is an advantage.
