Project Procurement Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage end-to-end project procurement: sourcing, tendering, contract negotiation, order tracking, inspection, and payment coordination.
2. Manage supplier relationships, handle quality issues and returns/exchanges to ensure project continuity.
3. Participate in procurement strategy development during project front-end stages; provide cost estimation and market analysis.
4. Utilize advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Power Query) and Power BI for procurement data analysis, progress tracking, and risk reporting.
5. Handle FIDIC international contract matters to ensure compliance.
6. Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering Management, Supply Chain, International Trade, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields preferred.
2. Minimum 3 years of project procurement experience in engineering construction; chemical, food, pharmaceutical, or energy sectors preferred.
3. Familiar with process equipment (reactors, columns, heat exchangers, pumps, valves, piping, E&I) and material specifications.
4. Knowledgeable in tendering, contract terms, and supplier management; good negotiation skills.
5. Mandatory : Proficient in advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Power Query) and experienced with Power BI or similar BI tools.
6. Familiar with FIDIC international contract terms; international procurement experience is a plus.
7. National Registered Class 1/2 Cost Engineer certification preferred.
8. Familiarity with packaging materials and MRO categories is preferred.
9. English as working language; strong cross-functional coordination and ability to work under pressure.
