Project Quality Assurance Technician

The Project Quality Assurance Technician contributes to the quality control of products and processes throughout the project lifecycle, from the development phase to industrialization and production launch.
They participate in defining and applying customer and internal quality requirements, monitoring quality actions, and preparing for various industrial milestones. They contribute to the implementation of process control systems, monitoring control plans, and verifying the conformity of project deliverables.
In collaboration with the Project, Industrialization, Production, and Quality teams, as well as suppliers, they participate in identifying and addressing quality deviations, monitoring non-conformities, and implementing corrective actions.
They contribute to risk analyses, conformity reviews, and project quality rituals. The Project Quality Assurance Technician also participates in problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, RPO, and QRQC, and ensures follow-up on actions until their completion.
The Project Quality Assurance Technician thus contributes to securing industrial milestones, managing quality risks, and ensuring compliance with customer and internal requirements, as well as validating production instruction sheets.

Desired Candidate Profile

A two-year or three-year post-secondary degree (Bac+2 or Bac+3) in Quality, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Aeronautics, or a related field.
Initial experience in Project Quality, Quality Assurance, Industrialization, or Production Quality, ideally in a demanding industrial environment.
A good understanding of the principles and tools of Project Quality Assurance and quality monitoring during the industrialization phase.
Knowledge of APQP methodologies and key industrial milestones.
Proficient in problem-solving tools: 8D, RPO, QRQC, and root cause analysis.
Knowledge of risk analysis tools such as FMEA/FMECA, control plans, and master plans.
Ability to track non-conformities, deviations, and action plans through to closure.
Ability to work collaboratively with Project, Industrialization, Methods, Production, Quality, and Supplier teams.
Rigorous, organized, autonomous, analytical, and a team player.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Professional English, both written and spoken, is required to work in an international environment.
