Project Quantity Surveyor (BIM + PSSCOC)

• Develop and manage project budgets, cost plans, and feasibility studies.
• Administer construction contracts, including PSSCOC forms, and ensure compliance with all contractual terms and conditions.
• Manage progress claims, payment certifications, and final account processes.
• Evaluate and assess variations, Extension of Time (EOT) claims, and loss & expense claims.
• Manage subcontractor procurement activities, including tender evaluation, award recommendations, and contract documentation.
• Track project expenditure and prepare regular financial reports for management.
• Perform cost analysis and project risk assessments.
• Work closely with project teams to identify and implement cost-effective solutions.
• Apply BIM for costing purposes, such as Cost X, and support the implementation of Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) and Common Data Environment (CDE).
• Maintain accurate project records and documentation for audit and reporting purposes.

Requirements

• Degree in Building, Quantity Surveying, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of practical experience as a Project Quantity Surveyor on construction projects.
• APQS (Tier 3) accreditation is preferred.
• Experience working on at least 1 project using PSSCOC (Public Sector Standard Conditions of Contract).
• Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and its application in costing, such as Cost X or similar software.
• Experience working on ongoing or completed projects where Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) and Common Data Environment (CDE) were implemented.
