About the Role

The successful candidates will be allocated construction projects and will take responsibility for day-to-day commercial administration, project coordination, subcontractor management, procurement follow-up, progress monitoring, reporting, and project close-out activities. This position extends beyond the traditional Quantity Surveying function and requires strong commercial and operational involvement throughout the project lifecycle. [Resource Request | PDF]

Minimum Requirements

• National Diploma, Diploma, BTech, or BSc in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related construction discipline.
• Quantity Surveying background strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years' relevant construction industry experience.
• Proven contractor-side experience within a main contractor environment.
• Experience in:
• BOQs and quantity take-offs
• Monthly valuations
• Subcontractor accounts
• Variation pricing
• Cost control and reporting
• Procurement management
• Competency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Exposure to JBCC and/or GCC contracts will be advantageous.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel between project sites. [Resource Request | PDF]

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate allocated construction projects.
• Prepare quantity take-offs, remeasurements, and BOQ reviews.
• Compile monthly client valuations and payment claims.
• Administer subcontractor quotations, appointments, measurements, and payment certificates.
• Manage variation orders, site instructions, and project registers.
• Maintain project budgets and forecast costs to completion.
• Coordinate procurement activities and delivery schedules.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular status reporting.
• Support contract administration and maintain project records.
• Assist with project inspections, close-out activities, and final accounts.
