About the role

Remark Steel Structure is seeking a Project Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team in Suan Luang, Bangkok. This is a full-time position that combines technical expertise with sales acumen, playing a crucial role in driving our business growth. As a Project Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing sales opportunities for our steel structure projects whilst providing technical support throughout the sales process. This role is integral to our commercial success and directly impacts our ability to deliver innovative steel structure solutions to our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new sales opportunities for steel structure projects in the Bangkok market and beyond
• Prepare technical proposals and quotations based on client specifications and project requirements
• Conduct site visits and assessments to understand client needs and project scope
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure feasibility and cost-effectiveness of proposed solutions
• Maintain relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities for repeat business and upselling
• Present technical solutions to clients, explaining design benefits and cost advantages
• Negotiate contract terms and manage the sales process from initial contact through project delivery
• Provide post-sale technical support and troubleshooting to ensure client satisfaction
• Maintain accurate sales records, pipelines, and forecasts within the customer relationship management system
• Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking activities to generate leads

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project sales, technical sales, or project engineering within the construction, manufacturing, or engineering sector
• Strong technical knowledge of steel structures, design principles, and construction methodologies
• Proven track record of successfully closing sales and achieving sales targets
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software or the ability to quickly learn and interpret technical drawings
• Strong problem-solving abilities and commercial awareness
• Experience in project management and understanding of project lifecycles
• Fluency in English is essential; Thai language proficiency is advantageous
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and customer relationship management (CRM) systems
• Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and site assessments
