Project Schedule Engineer

We are hiring a Project Schedule Engineer to lead schedule development, updates, and analysis for projects across the UAE. This role is ideal for a scheduling specialist with strong Primavera P6 expertise who thrives on turning complex project scopes into clear, trackable timelines.

Project Schedule Engineer Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6
• Build and manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and activity-level scheduling
• Perform Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis to identify schedule risks and bottlenecks
• Track progress against baseline; issue regular schedule updates and variance reports
• Prepare S-curves, look-ahead schedules, and manpower histograms
• Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, and project management for accurate progress data
• Support resource and cost loading of schedules
• Assist with delay analysis and EOT (Extension of Time) documentation
• Ensure schedule compliance with contractual milestones and reporting requirements

Project Schedule Engineer Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• 3–7 years of experience as a Schedule Engineer / Planning Engineer / Project Planner
• Strong hands-on expertise in Primavera P6 (essential); MS Project knowledge a plus
• Solid understanding of CPM scheduling, WBS development, and progress tracking
• Advanced MS Excel skills for reporting and schedule analysis
• Available for immediate joining or short notice period

Preferred:

• UAE or GCC project experience
• Experience in construction, infrastructure, EPC, or steel fabrication/structural steel projects
• PMP, PSP, or CCP certification
• Exposure to delay analysis and EOT claims support
