Job#: 3056032 Job Description: Apex Systems is hiring a Project Scheduler to join a growing client in Phoenix, AZ Duration: 12-Month Contract with potential for extension or conversion

Location: Phoenix, AZ | Hybrid (1 Day Onsite Per Week)

Are you an experienced Primavera P6 Scheduler who enjoys solving complex scheduling challenges and influencing the success of large-scale capital projects? We're seeking a Project Controls Scheduler to support a high-profile portfolio of capital projects.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop, maintain, and optimize logic-driven project schedules in Primavera P6
• Build and manage baseline schedules for a large portfolio of capital projects
• Perform critical path and schedule health analysis
• Identify schedule risks, impacts, and recovery opportunities
• Partner closely with Project Managers and stakeholders to validate schedules and assumptions
• Lead schedule review meetings and facilitate discussions around project timelines and risks
• Support schedule forecasting, reporting, and portfolio-level visibility
• Mentor project teams on scheduling best practices and project controls processes

What We're Looking For Required:

• 3+ years of project scheduling experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6

• Experience developing and maintaining complex project schedules

• Solid understanding of:

• Critical Path Methodology (CPM)

• Schedule logic and dependencies

• Baseline management

• Schedule forecasting

• Full project lifecycle planning

• Strong communication and facilitation skills

• Ability to work directly with project teams and influence schedule outcomes

Preferred:

• Knowledge of resource loading, cost loading, or Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Experience working with integrated master schedules and portfolio reporting
• Power BI and advanced Excel experience
