PROJECT SITE ENGINEER

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Site Engineer to join the dynamic team at JJWS Builders' in Quezon City, Metro Manila. As a Project Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction projects, overseeing the on-site operations and ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to be part of a leading construction company and contribute to the development of the local community.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and coordinate the day-to-day activities at the construction site, ensuring the timely and cost-effective completion of projects
• Liaise with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to monitor progress, identify and resolve issues, and implement corrective actions as needed
• Oversee the implementation of construction plans, specifications, and safety protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Conduct regular site inspections, monitor quality control, and maintain detailed project documentation
• Collaborate with the project team to identify and address potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies
• Provide technical support and guidance to the construction crew, ensuring they have the necessary resources and expertise to perform their duties effectively
• Participate in the procurement and management of materials, equipment, and subcontractors, optimising resources to maximise project efficiency

What we're looking for

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture / Master Plumber.
• Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish, with a focus on quality, safety, and timely delivery
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and find innovative solutions to complex challenges
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate and collaborate with a diverse team of stakeholders
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and technical documents
• Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Proficient in the use of construction management software and tools
