Project Solutions Manager

Position Summary

This position provides customer perspective and solutions from the pre-sale stage through the transfer of ownership.

Job Responsibilities Include

• Ensure project pre/post shipment planning, scheduling and communication and support with customers regarding installation vs installation supervision, commissioning vs training, etc.
  • Help define customer site project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal/external stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Co-Perform risk management to minimize any potential customer site risks
  • Work with the PM to meet site budgetary objectives based on financial analysis
    • Ensure evaluation techniques and KPI measurement templates are utilized
• Support project managers to coordinate resources and 3rd parties/vendors /subcontractors.
  • Develop site project plans and site execution plans to track progress. Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document customer site needs
  • Co-Manage changes to the site project scope, schedule, and costs
  • Track site project performance and submit regular site reports
• Establish internal training points for Application Engineers and Project Managers to ensure a holistic approach to our business solutions

Required Education and Experience

• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in a manufacturing/industrial industry and five (5) years of supervisory experience
• Strong customer service, written and oral presentation skills.
• Software skills: Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, CRM, AutoCAD
• SAP experience (or ERP equivalent)
• Must be able to travel 50-75% of time
