Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Flooring Superintendent to join our dynamic team in Tampa, FL. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of commercial flooring installation projects, ensuring timely completion, adherence to quality standards, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Control:
• Inspect all flooring materials upon delivery to ensure they meet project specifications and quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections during installation to identify and address any defects or discrepancies.
• Perform final quality checks before project completion and obtain client sign-off.
• Safety:
• Implement and enforce all safety protocols and procedures on the job site.
• Conduct daily safety inspections and address any safety hazards immediately.
• Ensure all workers are properly trained and equipped with necessary safety gear.
• Client Relations:
• Maintain open and effective communication with clients, project managers, and subcontractors.
• Address client concerns promptly and professionally.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Team Management:
• Supervise and mentor flooring installation crews.
• Motivate and inspire the team to achieve project goals.
• Resolve any conflicts or issues within the team effectively.
• Administrative Duties:
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including photos and inspection reports.
• Assist with project closeout procedures.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as a Commercial Flooring Superintendent or in a similar role.
• Proven experience in managing all aspects of commercial flooring installation projects, including carpet, tile, hardwood, stone, terrazzo, VCT, LVT, etc.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards, best practices, and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Procore experience is a plus
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
