Project Supervisor

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Automation Project Supervisor to oversee machine assembly and automation system integration projects within our factory. The successful candidate will coordinate project resources, supervise assembly activities, and ensure that projects are completed according to engineering specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise machine assembly and automation system integration projects within the factory.
• Manage project resources, materials, manpower, and schedules to ensure smooth project execution.
• Oversee non-standard automation integration projects with an estimated annual project value of RM5–6 million.
• Supervise mechanical assembly, machine integration, and internal testing activities.
• Ensure assembly work complies with approved engineering drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and technical documentation.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during machine integration and factory testing.
• Identify design discrepancies, layout variations, component interferences, and material substitution requirements, and coordinate the necessary engineering or BOM revisions.
• Ensure project deliverables meet internal engineering standards, quality requirements, and customer specifications.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including assembly progress reports, inspection records, punch lists, and project completion status.
• Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and workshop regulations.
• Promote good housekeeping, workplace safety, and efficient working practices within the assembly area.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong logical thinking, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities. Candidates with a Diploma and demonstrated technical competency are encouraged to apply.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in machine assembly, manufacturing, automation equipment, or project supervision.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, mechanical assembly drawings, pneumatic and electrical schematics, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in mechanical design is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Chinese, English, and/or Malay is preferred.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
