Project Support Engineer

Your role

Bring your curiosity to work as our next Project Support Engineer. You will be part of our Projects team. In this role, your mission is to supports the Desoutter Mexico sales and Projects organization throughout the sales and project lifecycle.

Your day-to-day

• Provide input on project timelines, resource estimates, delivery models, and implementation requirements.
• Review quotations, proposals, and RFQ responses to support realistic scope, cost, schedule, and delivery commitments.
• Coordinate timely quotation generation and establish consistent quoting practices for project-related business.
• Identify delivery risks.
• Manage simple projects requiring additional components sourced internally, from external suppliers, or through the global APC in Nantes, France.
• Facilitate project closeout.
• Coordinate order invoicing activities to support accurate revenue recognition and reporting for the Mexico Customer Center and applicable Product Companies.
• Track revenue, cost, purchasing, receipts, delivery, invoicing, work in process, and orders on hand for open projects.
• Monitor project inventory and working capital while balancing responsible stewardship with successful customer delivery.
• Serve as a knowledgeable user and support contact for relevant business systems, including SAP ECC, Workfront, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint.
• Manage communications within the Project Team and across the Mexico Customer Center, Product Companies, suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain the supplier portfolio by category, monitor lead times and performance, and support continuous improvement of supplier capability and accountability.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Your job location

This role requires you to work on-site at our office in Tlalnepantla, Mexico (MX). You will be part of a dynamic team and enjoy the benefits of face-to-face collaboration.

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site
