Project Support Technician-Energy Management

This is a field-based role supporting energy management technology-based projects at customer sites throughout Canada, USA and Europe. You will work across a variety of projects in the commercial, industrial, and Multi-National Retal sector to maximize their building energy and operational efficiency, reduce waste, reduce costs and support sustainability mandates. Work will include on-site scoping, project preparation, equipment configuration, documentation, training and system deployment and installation support.

We are looking for someone with hands-on industry/facility management experience who understands energy management, operations & maintenance, building automation systems, building–wide system integration, and mechanical electrical systems and processes. We are looking for someone dependable, practical, with skills for executing large energy management projects and excellent customer-facing skills.

Training will be provided on the technologies and systems we deploy. As experience and capability grow, there will be opportunities to take on greater responsibilities across our project operations team and expand your career with Renteknik.

What We Look For

· Conduct Site Visits to collect and record data on facilities and equipment for sub-meter installation planning and project quoting

Pre-Project Assembly submetering kits and enclosures in accordance with standard schematic plans and process flows

· Onsite & Remote installation/support, configuration, testing and commissioning of technology equipment and devices

· Work alongside Technicians, Electricians, Mechanical Contractors, and Customer representatives

· Troubleshoot basic equipment, connectivity and installation issues

· Design, setup, and configure equipment/devices in Cloud-based energy management platform

· Coordinate with Renteknik team members to ensure collaborative development of deployment plans and avoid gaps in handoff communication throughout the process

· Act on behalf of Renteknik to maintain professional and positive Customer and Contractor Partner Relations throughout the project cycle

· Build long lasting relationships with contractor partners and customers throughout the project that align with RGI core values

Who We Look For:

· 3-5 years experience

· Technical Degree/Diploma or equivalent technical training/practical experience

· Facility Technician or related facility operation experience an asset

· Experience with Commercial HVAC, Electrical, and Control Systems

· Experience with reading single line and as built drawings an asset

· Experience with Microsoft Office

· Excel proficient

· Hands on and technically inclined

· Valid driver's licence and reliable access to a vehicle required

· Must be able to travel reliably to customer sites in Canada, US (potentially Europe)

Pay: $45,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
