Project Surveyor

As a Project Surveyor at BMS Offshore, you play a key role in the successful execution of offshore survey scopes.

You are responsible for the preparation, mobilization, and coordination of survey systems and data acquisition, ensuring that all technical elements are in place for accurate and reliable offshore operations. Your work bridges both the onshore and offshore phases of a project, supporting delivery with precision and professionalism.

This is a technically focused role with a strong hands-on component, both in system setup and data validation. While the position involves limited administrative work and client interaction, it offers significant room for personal growth and skill development, particularly in marine geospatial data and positioning systems. You work in close coordination with engineers, survey teams, and offshore crews to ensure project requirements are met, every step of the way.

Responsibilities

• Prepare survey equipment and software for mobilization;
• Monitor survey operations and data quality offshore;
• Process and QC acquired positioning and geophysical data;
• Participate in client meetings and provide technical guidance;
• Supervise projects surveyors and support Party Chiefs offshore;
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company procedures.

Must Have

• Degree in Hydrography, Geomatics or any related technical field;
• Experience in offshore positioning and survey operations;
• Familiarity with navigation and acquisition software;
• Able to work independently on vessels;
• Fluent in English.

Nice to have

• Experience in renewable energy or interconnector projects;
• Familiarity with data integration platforms.
