Project Technician

We are looking for a motivated and responsible Project Technician to support site activities for our Mini Hydro project located at Gunung Kalbu, Sungai Siput, Perak. The successful candidate will assist with site inspections, technical work, maintenance activities, and coordination to ensure that project activities are carried out safely and according to project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervisors in daily site activities for the Mini Hydro project.
• Perform site inspections and monitor work progress.
• Assist with electrical and mechanical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
• Support testing and commissioning activities for electrical and mechanical equipment, where required.
• Monitor contractors' work to ensure compliance with safety requirements and technical specifications.
• Prepare daily site reports, inspection records, and maintenance documentation.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are properly maintained and accounted for.
• Follow all site safety procedures and company requirements.
• Perform other technical duties assigned by the project manager, project engineer or supervisor.

Requirements

• Minimum PW2, PW4, LV Chargeman Certificate, or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience in electrical, mechanical, maintenance, or construction site work will be an advantage.
• Fresh graduates with a positive attitude and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of electrical or mechanical systems and equipment.
• Able to work at the project site in Gunung Korbu, Sungai Siput, Perak.
• Willing to work outdoors and perform site-based duties.
• Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to follow safety procedures and instructions from supervisors.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
