Adjusts, advises and provides input as the project progresses.

& Responsibilities 主要工作与职责

• Follow specific flow chart outlining the decision-making process and provide feedback as the centre point of coordination between hotel, project management and HQ.

• Be familiar with project construction, end product; understand critical path timeline and budgets.

• Monitor the progress of the project with hotel management and evaluate overall handover schedule, T/C and opening schedule.
• 与酒店运营管理团队一同监督和评估工程进度是否整体符合移交计划和开业时间表。
• Ensure hotel operator has a very clear understanding of the progress of the site and is well informed of the challenges and red flags to manage delay and reduce pre-opening expenses.
• 确保酒店运营管理团队对工程进度有非常清晰认识，对已知道时间表的挑战和危险进行有效管理，减低开业筹备酒店的费用。
• Regular reporting to corporate office of site development and happenings, especially deviations from design, quality of product, delays and budget considerations

• Attend project site meetings with contractors.

Express concerns on behalf of hotel management on a timely basis. Coordinate with the project team with proper site management, e.g. determine access to the site and routing of workers and hotel staff on site.

• Coordinate desktop computers; point of sales; telephone and key card system installation and interfaces.

• Review design to ensure that the requirements and dimensions of the design standards have been incorporated in the design. (E.g. towel holders, minibar, furniture dimensions, coordinate master key and ironmongery schedules) Review location and layout of these areas of the back of house areas.

• Supervise and coordinate kitchen and laundry equipment and signage installation.

• Coordinate all operational issues related to support areas, including interior fit out.

• Coordinate receiving, storage and installation of hotel operating equipment

• Participate and assist in the Hotel pre-opening office set up and colleague residence issues.

• Perform product quality control from an operations point of view at the construction stage. Be alert and fully aware of on-site conditions through daily inspection of all components and aspects of design, workmanship, etc.

• Inspect areas before handing over which include proper procedures of punch out and follow up, defect rectification and final hand over of areas. Follow up all documentation, e.g. T&C records, operations manual, as built drawing, etc. Look for ways to simplify processes and operate efficiently.

• Communicate to Region / HQ Project Team any concerns or decisions taken by the Project team on the value engineering process, if any.

• Simplify and facilitate the transition between Project and Operator by anticipating the needs of both sides for a successful hand-over.

• Assist Operator for the compilation of the Master Defect List.

• Establish and follow a communication protocol to reduce administrative work and emails.
• Manage any other duties as deemed necessary from the Senior Leadership Team.
