Lead projects that are anything but standard

From enormous offshore structures to critical components for the defence, aerospace and process industries. As a Projectmanager Mechanical Engineering at Breman Machinery in Genemuiden, you make sure complex, custom-made projects run smoothly from order to final delivery.

You are the central point of contact for customers, suppliers, inspection authorities and colleagues. You coordinate between engineering, planning, purchasing, production and quality, ensuring that everything comes together at the right time.

What will you be doing?

Once a project has been sold, you take over. From that moment on, you are responsible for the complete execution of the project.

You translate customer drawings into a manufacturable project and make sure that all information, materials, procedures and schedules are available at the right time. You work closely with colleagues in production and quality.

You maintain contact with customers, suppliers and inspection authorities, making sure everyone knows where things stand throughout the project. Before production starts, you organise the kick-off and coordinate all manufacturing steps with the departments involved.

During execution, you keep a close eye on progress and the scope of work, making adjustments where necessary. You also guide a Junior Project Manager and act as the central point of contact for all parties involved throughout the entire project.

What we offer

• A monthly salary between €4,000 and €6,000
• A good pension scheme through PMT
• Travel allowance of €0.19 per kilometre, increasing to €0.21 per kilometre for commutes of 30 kilometres or more each way
• 25 days of annual leave, plus the option to purchase an additional 64 hours of leave each year
• Overtime paid out or compensated with time off – the choice is yours

You will join an organisation with short lines of communication where we believe in being straightforward and saying things as they are. Our working hours are Monday to Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Fridays we finish at 2:30 p.m. That means an early start to your weekend.

Your profile

• You feel at home in a technical project environment where no two days are the same.
• You are able to maintain an overview, communicate easily with different stakeholders and know how to bring people together to achieve the best possible result.
• You have completed a vocational (MBO) or higher professional (HBO) degree in Mechanical Engineering, have at least 5 years of relevant work experience in a technical project environment and have knowledge of manufacturing techniques such as welding, machining, surface treatment and assembly.
• You are able to read both 2D and 3D technical drawings and have a good command of both Dutch and English.
