Projects Engineer

Job Accountabilities

• Revising projects designs and BOQ’s received from consultants before tender phase

• Receiving technical and financial offers from bidders during tender phase and evaluating the offers with consultants and communicate the results to procurement committee

• Prepare the required memos to acquire all the needed approvals abiding to the bank procedures and control guidelines

• Participate in projects handover committee by bank to receive delivered projects from contractors

• Gathering the needed project requirements from all the stakeholders in the bank and communicating all the data to the assigned project consultant for initiating design.

• Communicating final designs to the project stakeholders in the bank for confirmation

• Communicating project issues within all project stakeholders

• Monitoring project deliverables according to the project timeline and specifications

• Revise projects invoices received from contractors and vendors technically before submitting to finance department

• Periodical reporting of project progress (Technically & financially) to different managerial level.

• Follow all relevant approved department’s policies, and procedures and monitor adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.

• Follow the day-to-day operations related to own jobs in the department to ensure continuity of work

• Comply with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal EG Bank policies and code of conduct to maintain EG Bank’s sound legal position and mitigate any potential risks

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor of Engineering – PMP Certified
• 1 to 3 years of experience in Construction field preferable banking
