The role is also a member of Galebreaker's Operational Leadership Team.
The Role
Working closely with the Technical Director and the wider board, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of customer projects from order handover through design, manufacture, installation and project close-out.
You will provide leadership and support to the Industrial Design Team Lead, Agri/Commercial Design Team Lead and Installation Team Lead, ensuring resources are aligned, priorities are clear and customers receive an exceptional experience throughout the project lifecycle.

- Monitor project costs, margins, variations and contractual requirements.
- Oversee customer communications, surveys, approvals and installation planning.
- Ensure PPQs, supplier approvals and compliance requirements are completed to the required standard.
Systems, Performance & Improvement
- Drive the consistent use of ERP and project-management processes across the Projects function.
- Maintain visibility of project status, risks, costs and resource requirements.
- Develop and report key project and operational KPIs.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives that improve project delivery, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Leadership
- Directly manage and develop the Industrial Design Team Lead, Agri/Commercial Design Team Lead and Installation Team Lead.
- Conduct regular one-to-ones, appraisals and development planning.
- Support recruitment, succession planning and skills development across the Projects function.
- Represent the Projects function on the Operational Leadership Team and contribute to wider business decisions.
- Coordinate project priorities, resources and delivery programmes across multiple teams.
- Manage selected projects directly from order handover through to successful completion.
- Support the Installation Team Lead in managing project workload, customer requirements and resource allocation.
- Lead project reviews, customer handovers and lessons learned activities.

You will be an experienced project leader who enjoys developing people, improving systems and delivering results.
You will be equally comfortable working with customers, supporting Team Leads, reviewing commercial performance, resolving operational issues or driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential
- Proven experience managing multiple projects from order handover through to completion.
- Previous line management experience, ideally managing supervisors, Team Leads or managers.
- Experience within manufacturing, engineering, construction or a similar project-based environment.
- Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of project costs, margins and risk management.
