Job Description Projects Manager - Master Planning and Design Development Abu Dhabi, UAE

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Projects Manager - Master Planning and Design Development to join our team! In this role you will get to .

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the delivery of major master-planning, roads, and infrastructure design projects.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, government authorities, stakeholders, consultants, and contractors.
• Direct multidisciplinary project teams and promote collaboration and accountability.
• Establish project governance, delivery strategies, execution plans, and reporting systems.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, change control, claims, and financial performance.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Direct project planning, scheduling, and resource management.
• Oversee procurement, contractor performance, and consultant coordination.
• Manage negotiations concerning scope changes, commercial matters, and variations.
• Monitor progress, performance metrics, milestones, and deliverables.
• Resolve technical, commercial, and operational issues.
• Promote innovation, continuous improvement, and best practices.
• Mentor project managers and support team development and succession planning.
• Chair project review meetings and drive timely decision-making.
• Report to Projects Director and/or Senior Projects Manager

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Design and Project Management, or a related technical field.
• At least 12+ years of progressive experience delivering major infrastructure, transportation, or civil-engineering projects.
• Significant Abu Dhabi specific experience serving as a Projects Manager or in another senior project-leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience and local knowledge in master planning, roads, infrastructure, project governance, commercial management, risk management, and multidisciplinary team leadership.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring

• PMP or PCP Certification
• Engineering design software experience
