Projects Officers

The Project Officer will support the planning, coordination, monitoring, and documentation of engineering, infrastructure, construction, and expansion projects, ensuring activities are completed within approved timelines, budgets, quality standards, and safety requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support project planning, scheduling, and tracking of milestones and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress, conduct site visits, and report delays or challenges.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams to support effective project execution.
• Track project costs, materials, equipment, and other resource requirements.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, schedules, meeting minutes, and progress reports.
• Follow up on outstanding project activities and agreed action points.
• Support compliance with project specifications, quality standards, HSE requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Identify project risks, resource constraints, and potential cost overruns, escalating them appropriately.

QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor’s degree or HND in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Technology, or a related discipline.

· Minimum of 1–3 years’ relevant experience in project coordination, engineering, construction, infrastructure, or a related field.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

· Ability to conduct regular site visits and work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
