Prop Stylist

Our client, a leading company in the home textiles and consumer goods industry, is seeking a creative and innovative Prop Stylist with expertise in soft goods and home textiles to join their dynamic team in Bergen County, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Lead product styling and creative execution for photography and video shoots
• Plan and execute set design, prop sourcing, product preparation, and on-set styling
• Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and creative to ensure strong visual storytelling and brand alignment
• Interpret brand guidelines and tailor styling to different brand identities, customer demographics, and price points
• Provide creative direction to assistants, junior team members, and freelance partners
• Manage multiple projects, timelines, and production priorities while maintaining quality
• Organize props, set materials, and product samples; track budgets and resources with the Studio Manager
• Stay current on styling, design, and visual content trends to elevate creative output
• Maintain clear communication across creative, marketing, sales, and ecommerce teams

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in product styling within home soft goods or home textiles with photography and/or video experience
• Strong eye for design, composition, color, and detail
• Hands-on experience with set construction, painting, and basic power tools
• Experience directing others and collaborating across creative teams
• Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills
• Proficiency in Mac OS and working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge with project management and digital asset management tools, including Trello and Acquia
• Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds, with assistance as needed for heavier items
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for prop shopping and production errands
