Propane & Oil Service Technician

Upstate Energy is seeking an experienced Oil & Propane Service Technician to join our growing team.

Responsibilities include:

• Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing oil and propane heating equipment
• Performing maintenance, installations, startups, and equipment replacements
• Setting and removing propane tanks
• Installing propane gas lines, regulators, and related equipment
• Operating the company’s propane tank-setting truck
• Assisting and providing technical support to other employees
• Completing accurate service notes, labor, and parts documentation
• Participating in a shared, compensated on-call rotation

Requirements:

• Professional oil or propane service experience
• Valid Class A or B CDL with Hazmat endorsement
• Current DOT medical card
• Acceptable driving record
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Dependable, professional, and willing to take ownership of difficult jobs
• Good customer-service and communication skills

Experience with both oil and propane equipment is preferred.
