Propane Service Technician

First Fuel and Propane is seeking a dependable Propane Service Technician to join our team in Hudson, NY. In this role, you will operate a company-issued service truck daily out of our Hudson location, managing tank installations, running gas lines, and converting gas equipment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities*(Full training will be provided for all technical tasks)*

• Installation & Assembly: Set propane tanks of various sizes, run gas lines, and hook up gas equipment at residential and commercial customer locations.
• Maintenance & Diagnostics: Troubleshoot, identify, and repair leaks at customer sites; perform field repairs on tank valves and seals.
• Equipment Operation: Safely drive and operate a service truck equipped with a crane and boom attachment to deliver, install, and remove tanks.
• Safety & Compliance: Execute all daily functions in strict accordance with company safety policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Licensing: Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (or the ability to obtain endorsements promptly).
• Experience: None required! Prior experience setting propane tanks or running gas lines is a plus, but we are fully committed to training the right individual.
• Core Skills: Strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a desire for a long-term, stable career path.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour
