Job Summary

We are seeking a versatile Propane Install Technician / Delivery Driver to join our growing team in Manhattan, MT. This dynamic role splits time between delivering propane to our customer base and performing hands-on technical installations. You will set propane tanks, run gas lines, hook up equipment, and ensure safe, timely fuel deliveries. You will operate daily out of our Belgrade location and will be equipped with a new Ford F600 crane truck and modern delivery equipment. Prior experience is a plus, but it is not required—we are fully willing to train the right candidate on how to safely deliver propane and install lines. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of driving and technical hands-on work, and who doesn't mind working overtime during peak winter months (January and February) to keep our community warm.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Installation: Set residential and commercial propane tanks securely, run propane lines to equipment, and complete proper hookups.
• Delivery: Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport and fill customer propane tanks following standard routing schedules.
• Safety & Maintenance: Conduct system tests, perform leak checks, safely repair leaks at customer sites, and execute daily pre-trip/post-trip truck inspections.

Qualifications and Experience

• License: Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is Required (Class A or B).
• Endorsements: Must have both Hazmat (H) and Tanker (N) endorsements Required.
• Experience: 1 to 5+ years of related experience is a plus, but no prior experience is needed; we provide comprehensive training.
• Certification: Certified Employee Training Program (CETP) certificate is a plus, but not required (we will provide training and help you get certified).
• Availability: Ability to work full-time hours with seasonal overtime required during the peak cold months (January/February).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
