We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Properties Translator/Interpreter to facilitate clear and accurate communication across diverse property-related contexts. In this role, you will serve as a vital linguistic bridge, ensuring that property transactions, legal documentation, and client interactions are seamlessly understood regardless of language barriers. Your expertise in interpretation and translation will empower our team to deliver exceptional service, uphold professional ethics, and foster positive relationships with clients from various cultural backgrounds. Responsibilities

• Provide professional interpretation services for property-related meetings, negotiations, and legal proceedings using interpretation techniques such as simultaneous and consecutive interpretation.
• Translate documents including contracts, property descriptions, legal notices, and correspondence with accuracy and cultural sensitivity.
• Conduct over-the-phone interpretation (OPI) for clients and team members requiring immediate language support during property inquiries or transactions.
• Assist in educational interpretation efforts by explaining complex property terms and procedures to clients with limited English proficiency.
• Demonstrate cultural competency by understanding and respecting diverse backgrounds, ensuring effective communication in all interactions.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere strictly to professional ethics when handling sensitive information related to property transactions.
• Support the development of bilingual materials and resources to enhance communication clarity across multiple languages.

Qualifications

• Multilingual proficiency with fluency in English and at least one foreign language; additional languages are a plus.
• Proven experience in interpretation, including simultaneous, consecutive, and over-the-phone interpretation within a professional setting.
• Strong understanding of translation principles, especially related to legal and real estate terminology.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and accurately.
• Demonstrated cultural competency and sensitivity when working with diverse populations.
• Knowledge of linguistics principles and the ability to adapt language use based on context.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of professional ethics, confidentiality, and integrity in all tasks.
