Summary

Responsibilities

Property Accountant will be responsible for:

• Managing accounts payable and receivable processes with precision.
• Reconciling bank and account statements regularly.
• Preparing financial reports and supporting audits.
• Maintaining accurate general ledger entries using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
• Assisting with budgeting and financial analysis.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
• Collaborating with other departments to support operational efficiency.
• Qualifications
• Post-secondary education in accounting or related field
• 3+ years of experience in property accounting, preferably within residential or condominium real estate
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and property accounting practices
• Experience with Yardi considered an asset.
