Property & Engineering Underwriter

1. Provide comprehensive risk assessments of corporate business proposals to support the achievement of the Company's targets.
2. Increase the profitability of the Non-Marine business through prudent underwriting practices and sound risk evaluation.
3. Develop and manage the Non-Marine business portfolio to achieve company targets and conduct regular portfolio reviews.
4. Improve underwriting turnaround time and ensure that 90% of underwriting processes are completed within the established service standards.
5. Develop new Non-Marine products and regularly evaluate their performance and market relevance.
6. Support Production colleagues by conducting internal knowledge-sharing sessions and/or delivering presentations to clients and business partners.
7. Maintain effective communication and collaboration with the Production Department and other departments and business units.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Underwriter specializing in Property & Engineering Insurance, preferably with exposure to the oil & gas sector.
• Proven experience in underwriting corporate insurance business.
• AAAIK and/or AAIK certification is preferred.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong proficiency in Ms. Excel, particularly for data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
