Property Coverage Associate

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Associate Attorney with 5+ years of insurance defense litigation experience to join a growing legal team in the Irvine/Los Angeles area.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Manage personal injury, construction, and business litigation matters.
• Conduct and respond to discovery.
• Prepare for and take depositions.
• Handle litigation involving:
• Professional negligence
• Transportation
• Products liability
• Real estate-related matters
• Develop case strategies and work independently on assigned matters.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably with a strong insurance defense background.
• Experience with personal injury, construction, and/or business litigation.
• Strong experience handling discovery and depositions.
• Experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Professional negligence
• Transportation
• Products liability
• Real estate litigation
• Must be actively licensed to practice law in California.
• Must be located in California and able to work in or near Irvine or Los Angeles.
• Strong written, verbal, analytical, and case-management skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently and work effectively in a team environment.
