Property Executive (M&E)

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and technically competent Property Executive (M&E) to oversee the maintenance and operational performance of assigned facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring building systems operate efficiently, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting a safe and sustainable environment. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day facility maintenance and repair works, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections of M&E systems and building facilities to maintain optimal operational performance.
• Manage the renewal of service contracts, statutory licences, and permits.
• Identify opportunities for repairs, upgrades, and process improvements to enhance building efficiency.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors to ensure quality work and timely completion of maintenance activities.
• Support energy efficiency and water conservation initiatives.
• Assist in implementing workplace safety, emergency preparedness, and risk management programmes.
• Prepare operational reports and provide updates on facility performance to stakeholders.
• Ensure maintenance records and documentation are properly maintained.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in facilities management, building maintenance, property management, or equipment maintenance.
• Professional certifications such as Fire Safety Manager (FSM), Green Mark, ZWM, WEM, SIFMA, IFMA, SCEM, or equivalent will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of building M&E systems, maintenance practices, and statutory compliance.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to coordinate multiple contractors and manage maintenance activities effectively.
• Customer-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
