Property Inspector

Job Overview
The Home Inspector is responsible for ensuring all vacation rental units meet the resort’s quality, safety, and maintenance standards. This role plays a crucial part in delivering an exceptional guest experience by conducting thorough inspections before guest arrivals, after departures, and during routine property audits. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to identify and resolve property-related issues quickly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections of all vacation rental units, including interior and exterior areas, prior to guest check-in and after check-out.
• Verify cleanliness, staging, and readiness according to resort standards.
• Identify maintenance, safety, and cosmetic issues and document them accurately.
• Conduct routine property audits to ensure long-term upkeep and code compliance.
• Record inspection results using the resort’s digital systems or checklists.
• Create work orders for maintenance and housekeeping teams when deficiencies are found.
• Track recurring issues and report trends to management.
• Maintain detailed logs of completed inspections and follow-up tasks.
• Ensure all amenities, appliances, and features are functioning and properly stocked.
• Verify that safety devices (smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, locks, etc.) are operational.
• Support guest satisfaction by ensuring properties consistently exceed quality expectations.
