ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Hire A Hubby Ormeau & Beenleigh is looking for an experienced Property Maintenance Allrounder to join our local team.

This is an employee position—not a subcontractor role. Full-time, part-time arrangements are available.

The position would suit an experienced handyperson, maintenance worker or trade professional with broad practical skills and the ability to manage varied jobs independently.

THE WORK

Your work may include:

• Door, lock, hinge and window repairs
• General carpentry and timber repairs
• Patching, plaster repairs and painting
• Fencing, gates, decks and outdoor maintenance
• Installing fixtures, fittings and shelving
• Rental-property repairs
• Residential and light-commercial maintenance
• Identifying problems and recommending practical solutions

We don’t micromanage experienced people.

We discuss the scope, expected result and relevant requirements before the job begins. We listen to your ideas, agree on the best approach and then trust you to manage the work through to completion.

You must be able to think for yourself, organise your day, solve problems and deliver work safely and correctly in accordance with the agreed scope, relevant codes, standards and manufacturer requirements.

WHAT WE OFFER

• $40–$50 per hour plus superannuation
• Pay based on qualifications, experience and demonstrated ability
• Full-time, part-time employment
• Company ute supplied to full-time team members
• Work-related fuel paid for casual team members

Permanent rates include tool allowance. Casual rates include casual loading and tool allowance.

ABOUT YOU

You will need to:

• Have proven property-maintenance or handyman experience
• Possess broad practical skills and sound judgement
• Work independently without constant supervision
• Communicate professionally with customers and our office
• Be reliable, punctual and organised
• Take responsibility for quality and compliance
• Respect customers and their properties
• Hold a current driver licence and construction White Card
• Hold or be able to obtain a Blue Card before commencing
• Complete a satisfactory police check before commencing
