The Role

We're hiring a Property Maintenance Coordinator for an established Australian property maintenance management company. You'll be the operational backbone of their day-to-day maintenance workflow — managing work orders from receipt through to completion, scheduling the in-house handyman, chasing tenant access, and keeping everyone from tradespeople to property managers in the loop.

This is a structured, process-driven role for someone who already knows how to keep a busy trades schedule moving without things slipping through the cracks.

What You'll Be Doing

• Receiving and reviewing incoming maintenance work orders — checking completeness, creating job records, and chasing up anything missing

• Scheduling the in-house handyman by grouping jobs geographically and filling schedule gaps with vacant-property work

• Coordinating property access with tenants, building managers, and owners

• Communicating daily with tradespeople, property managers, and tenants across email, SMS, and phone

• Keeping Simpro (or equivalent) records accurate and up to date throughout the day

• Reviewing open jobs and outstanding access at end of day and setting up the next day's schedule

What You'll Need

• At least 3 years of experience in an administrative, coordination, or operations role

• Proven experience coordinating trades, maintenance, or field service bookings — scheduling technicians or contractors to attend sites

• Experience supporting Australian clients remotely

• Experience with job management or field service software such as Simpro, AroFlo, PropertyMe, Re-Leased, or Jobber

• Excellent written English for daily communication with property managers, tenants, and tradespeople

• Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry

• Reliable home internet and a quiet workspace suited to remote work

Strong Advantage

• Direct Simpro experience

• Background in Australian or New Zealand property management, strata, or real estate

• Familiarity with how Australian and New Zealand trades and tenancy arrangements work
