Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical equipment, and building interior components to ensure operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, including replacing filters, calibrating thermostats, and addressing system failures using schematics and technical manuals.
• Conduct plumbing system maintenance and repairs, including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing fixtures as needed.
• Utilize hand tools, electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to diagnose issues accurately.
• Carry out maintenance painting, carpentry repairs, welding tasks, and facilities equipment upkeep to maintain the building’s appearance and functionality.
• Read schematics and electrical diagrams to identify faults in electrical systems; perform electrical work including wiring repairs or replacements.
• Support building interior maintenance projects with a focus on safety standards, quality workmanship, and timely completion.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, inspections, repairs performed, and parts used to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks efficiently while providing excellent customer service to residents or tenants.
• Lead or assist in small maintenance projects when necessary, demonstrating leadership skills in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or building operations with a strong focus on HVAC system repair and electrical work.
• Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, welding equipment, plumbing tools, and schematics reading.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical equipment repair, and troubleshooting electrical circuits using ohmmeters.
• Ability to perform plumbing system maintenance and repair tasks confidently within residential or commercial settings.
• Experience with maintenance painting, carpentry repairs, carpentry skills for interior projects preferred.
• Strong understanding of facilities equipment maintenance including HVAC systems—ductwork cleaning, filter replacement—and building interior upkeep.
• Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and customer interactions.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to work independently or as part of a team under minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of maintenance, repair & operations (MRO), schematics interpretation, mechanical systems troubleshooting.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
