Guided by our values – Genuinely Care, Go Further, Truly Connected and Energy On – we foster a positive and supportive workplace where our people can thrive and take pride in what they do.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Painter to join our team. This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining the visual appeal and condition of the hotel through high-quality painting and general maintenance work. You’ll play a key part in ensuring our hotel presents at its very best for our guests at all times.

Key responsibilities:

  • Complete interior and exterior painting across hotel facilities
  • Prepare surfaces (sanding, filling, plaster repairs, priming)
  • Carry out preventative maintenance and routine inspections
  • Identify and report maintenance issues and safety hazards
  • Maintain tools and equipment to required standards
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures
  • Respond to guest maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to support hotel operations

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience in painting, plastering, and maintenance
  • Trade qualification (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
  • Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong understanding of health & safety practices
  • Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays when required

You are reliable, proactive, and take pride in delivering excellent work. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are committed to maintaining high standards. Your positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile help create a great experience for both guests and colleagues.

What we offer:

  • Supportive team environment
  • Opportunities for career development
  • Staff benefits and hotel discounts
  • Stable position in a well-established organisation offering between $28 to $34 per hour.
