Property Maintenance Technician – Full Time
Norfolk / Hampton Roads, VA
Pay: $20–$25/hour starting + Bonuses

We are looking for a reliable, experienced Property Maintenance Technician to handle day-to-day maintenance across a growing portfolio of residential houses, multifamily properties, and commercial properties.

This is a hands-on position for someone who can work independently, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs properly without needing constant supervision.

Responsibilities include:

• General property repairs and preventative maintenance
• Minor plumbing and electrical repairs
• Drywall, painting and patching
• Doors, locks, cabinets and basic carpentry
• Appliance troubleshooting and installation
• Apartment/property turnovers and make-ready work
• Furniture and fixture repairs/installation
• Basic flooring and exterior repairs
• Lawn cutting and general property/grounds maintenance
• Property inspections and identifying needed repairs
• Picking up approved materials when necessary
• Maintaining multiple properties throughout the Norfolk/Hampton Roads area
• Providing before/after photos and updates on completed work
• Identifying larger issues that require a licensed contractor

Requirements:

• Previous property maintenance or similar hands-on experience
• Must be dependable and able to work independently
• Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
• Must have your own standard maintenance tools
• Comfortable traveling between multiple properties
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
