Property Management Accountant (General Ledger)

Responsibilities and duties:

• Journal Entries: Prepare and post daily, monthly, and adjusting journal entries.
• Reconciliation: Reconcile balance sheet accounts (fixed assets, prepaid expenses, bank accounts) monthly.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Month-End Close: Manage and execute tasks for a timely and accurate month-end close process.
• Analysis: Analyze financial data, investigate variances, and provide flux analysis.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and internal controls.
• Audits: Support internal and external audits

Qualification & Requirements:

• Experience – At least 2 years of accounting experience
• Customer service – Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to maintain professional disposition and presentation while exercising judgment and discretion while remaining calm under pressure.
• Organization and accuracy – Strong time management, organization, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. The ability to maintain accuracy and balance it with timeliness
• Eye for Detail – You can catch mistakes that are buried and will not send anything without reviewing the content once or twice. You understand the importance of being attentive to the big and small and how it affects key business drivers.
• Solution Finder – Nothing gets in your way of exploring all possible options and exercising your creative thinking when presented with challenges. You do everything you can to avoid moving on before a conclusion is reached.
