An established and highly regarded real estate agency in Brisbane’s inner east is seeking an accomplished Director of Property Management to lead its sizeable property management division.
This is a genuine leadership position overseeing an experienced, well-structured team within a successful business known for its strong local presence, established systems and commitment to exceptional client service.
The opportunity Working closely with the business owners and senior leadership team, you will take responsibility for the performance, culture and continued development of the property management department.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading, mentoring and developing a large property management team
• Managing team performance, accountability and professional development
• Overseeing departmental operations, workflows and service standards
• Supporting team leaders with escalated client, tenancy and compliance matters
• Monitoring portfolio performance, retention and departmental profitability
• Reviewing and improving systems, processes and operational efficiencies
• Maintaining strong relationships with key landlords and stakeholders
• Supporting organic rent roll growth and new business initiatives
• Ensuring compliance with Queensland legislation and industry best practice
• Working collaboratively with the sales, business development and executive teams

Ideally, you will have:

• Significant experience in residential property management
• Previous leadership experience as a Director, Department Head, Operations Manager or Senior Team Leader
• Strong knowledge of Queensland residential tenancy legislation
• Experience leading a sizeable or multi-layered property management team
• Commercial awareness across profitability, retention and performance
• Confidence managing escalated and complex situations
• Strong communication, coaching and relationship-management skills
• A current Queensland real estate registration or licence
• A calm, accountable and people-focused leadership style
