About the role

BCR Property is seeking an experienced Property Manager (Short Term Accomodation) to join our team in Queenstown, Otago. This is a full-time position (30 hours per week) that plays a crucial role in the day-to-day management and administration of our property portfolio. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties whilst maintaining the highest standards of service and professionalism. This role is central to our business operations, directly impacting tenant satisfaction, property performance and the overall success of our real estate portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day operations and administrative functions across the property portfolio

• Overseeing maintenance and repairs, coordinating with contractors and service providers

• Conducting regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with standards

• Managing relationships with property owners

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in property management or a related role

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with landlords and contractors

• Proficiency with property management software and general office IT systems

• Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple properties and priorities simultaneously

• Sound financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial record-keeping

• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing maintenance and tenant issues

• Professional and trustworthy character with strong ethical standards

• Valid driver's licence and reliable transport, as the role requires site visits and inspections
