Property Manager

About the Role
We're looking for someone with a property management background to be our eyes on the ground. You'll visit the properties we maintain, check that our work meets the standard our clients expect, and catch problems before the client does. You know what property managers, HOA boards and building owners care about because you've been in their seat. Now you'll use that experience on our side.

Key Responsibilities

• Walk client properties on a regular schedule and inspect landscape and maintenance quality, safety and curb appeal
• Complete site inspection reports with photos, and track open issues until they're fixed
• Spot problems early, such as irrigation leaks, dead or declining plants, drainage issues, trip hazards, tree concerns and pest or weed problems
• Check that crews are completing the scope of work in each contract, on schedule and to standard
• Give crew leads clear, practical feedback and help set priorities for each site
• Act as a point of contact for property managers, HOA boards and owners: answer questions, handle concerns and build long-term relationships
• Find and write up enhancement and upsell opportunities, such as seasonal color, mulch, irrigation upgrades and tree work
• Coordinate with the office on work orders, scheduling and any follow-up that's needed
• Help with new-account walkthroughs, bids and site transitions
• Make sure sites stay compliant with contract terms, safety standards and any HOA or city rules

Qualifications

• 3+ years in property management (residential, HOA or commercial) or a similar client-facing facilities role
• Strong eye for detail, and an understanding of what makes a property look and run well
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Organized, self-directed and comfortable managing several sites
• Comfortable with tablets or smartphones, email and inspection or work-order software
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Landscape, irrigation or horticulture knowledge is a plus, but not required (we'll train)
