Property Manager

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Property Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of residential facilities. This role is vital in ensuring that all property systems function efficiently, safety standards are upheld, and tenants or occupants receive exceptional service. Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate facilities maintenance teams, ensuring timely completion of repairs and preventive maintenance activities.
• Oversee the management of mechanical systems such as HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), plumbing, electrical systems, and high voltage equipment.
• Develop and implement maintenance repair procedures, safety regulations, and project management plans to optimize facility performance.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, inventory, and maintenance schedules.
• Conduct engineering troubleshooting for complex mechanical or electrical issues using schematics, multimeters (voltmeter, ohmmeter), and other diagnostic tools.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards and safety regulations across all facility operations.
• Manage facilities management tasks including managing budgets, coordinating repairs, overseeing contractors, and maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities.
• Lead facilities inspections to identify potential hazards or system failures; perform HVAC system repair or electrical system troubleshooting as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members, vendors, tenants, or stakeholders to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure high standards of safety and service.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience supervising facilities maintenance teams or similar operational groups.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, electrical systems troubleshooting (including high voltage), and industrial maintenance procedures.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, electrical testing tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters, as well as low voltage systems.
• Experience managing facilities using CMMS software; adept at scheduling preventive maintenance and tracking work orders.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations along with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
• Strong leadership qualities with supervisory experience managing diverse teams in fast-paced settings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes.
• Mechanical systems repair expertise combined with engineering troubleshooting skills for complex issues involving electrical or mechanical failures.
• Fluency in English is required for effective communication across teams and stakeholders.
